Questions we are asked most
If yours is not here, phone or write.

Booking and cost
Prices, areas and timing.
It depends on the size and use of the building, and we quote a fixed fee. How fees are set is explained on the Assessments page, and the quote form is short.
We work around Brantholme and in the towns listed on the contact page. If you are just outside, ask.
The times we work to are on the How it works page. If it is urgent, phone the office.
The visit
What happens on the day.
An assessor walks every area people can reach and photographs what they find. The steps are on the How it works page.
No. We work around you, and an ordinary day is best. If we need to see a room that is in use, we ask first.
We look at them and at the service records, but we do not test or service equipment. We do not maintain what we assess.
The report
What you receive and how to read it.
Plain sentences with a photograph, and a number on each finding. You can see one on the sample report page.
Each finding gets one of four priorities, from Act now to Next review. The sample report shows each one in use.
It is yours, and you can share it. What they accept is their decision, and we cannot answer for them.
After the report
Doing the work and looking again.
No. We assess and advise, and we do not fit doors or sell equipment. That keeps the advice independent.
Phone us. The dates are our recommendation, and we would rather talk through a sensible order than have the report set aside.
The report names a review date, and we write to you before it arrives. How it is set is on the How it works page. Tell us sooner if the layout or use of the building changes.
